Our campaigns
Someone to Talk To
Our charity campaign, ‘Someone to Talk To‘, provides fully funded counselling sessions for schools, specifically aimed at helping children in need. With the NHS currently facing a significant backlog in mental health support for children, many are left waiting for essential care, which can seriously impact their well-being.
Our team of qualified counselors is committed to prioritizing children’s mental health, ensuring they receive the support they need without delay. The ‘Someone to Talk To’ campaign is here to address these needs promptly, offering crucial mental health support when it’s needed most.
Technology Programme
Technology plays a huge part in children’s and young people’s lives and ever increasingly in their education. There are still thousands of children in the UK who do not have access to the right technology to continue their learning, potentially meaning that through no fault of their own, they will fall behind their peers.
Through donations from our free electronics collection service, we provide the needed technology to children around the UK who require it and help to create equal educational opportunities.
How you can help
We collect a variety of items in the form of donations, all of which hugely helps our efforts in supporting disadvantaged children across the UK. If you have any unwanted clothes, shoes, books or toys that you no longer use or want, book a free collection and we’ll come and pick them up from your home or place of work.
Whether you want to participate in a solo fundraiser or want to plan a larger fundraising event in your community or with your work colleagues, every fundraiser means so much to us and the children we support. Either plan a fundraiser for Little Lives UK yourself or get in touch to discuss some ideas on how to fundraise for us.
Leaving a gift in your will to Little Lives UK is leaving a gift for the future. A gift in your will helps to provide a bright future for children by giving them the happy, healthy and fun childhood that all children deserve. Gifts in wills are fundamental to all charities and we are no exception, if you choose to leave a gift to us, your decision will be life changing for so many children.
Donating your old or unwanted electronic items can make a huge difference to so many children and their families. Book a free electronics collection in Bournemouth and London to donate. When you donate your unwanted electronics, you are helping to support our Technology Programme. Your donations will support children with continuing their education by helping them gain access to needed technology.
Charity shops
Never-stop-recycling
Our charity shops play a dual role in benefiting both charitable causes and the environment. By selling donated items, they generate funds that support our charity campaigns and improve the lives of thousands of children across the UK.
Simultaneously, these shops promote the reuse and recycling of goods, reducing waste and decreasing the demand for new products. This, in turn, helps minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing and disposal, contributing to a more sustainable future.
