Due to the recent changes that the pandemic has caused in UK society, all schools are now shut, and children are having to complete their schoolwork at home, online.
With the help of computers, life as we know it has become a lot easier as we have shifted from stacks and stacks of paperwork for everything, to purely being handled online.
But what about those who don’t have the luxury of owning an electronic device such as a laptop or a tablet?
How does life in the pandemic shift for such people, especially children who are no longer able to attend school to learn, without an electronic device to guide them?
It’s no doubt that some families are more fortunate than others, and some even have electronics they probably don’t even use. If this is you, then we as a charity urge you to donate your unused laptops and tablets etc to our local stores.
With your help we can pass these devices on to families less fortunate, who need them for their children, who are working hard to complete their schoolwork at home.
This pandemic is a global issue and all families need to come together to help one-another get through it, especially if it benefits the children and their education. Below you will find the link to the donation page on our website. Any electronics donations are much appreciated, and any families that can help or be helped are equally important.
Thank you.
