FAQ

A pile of clothes going to Little Lives UK charity clothes collection service

Where does my clothing donation go?

We often donate items directly to families and children in need. We also regularly give items donated to us, such as clothes and toys, to local councils and schools so they can be immediately used to support children. Some of the clothing donated to us is used to directly support the community. We work closely with local refugee centres, regularly offering them clothing items donated to us which they can then provide to many families.

Why do we love recycling clothes?

In the UK there is an estimated £140 million worth of clothing dumped into landfills each year. A lot of the time these clothes could have been easily reused or repurposed but because of cheap clothing and our throw-away culture, we see our landfills filling up with thousands of tonnes of wasted clothing and textiles. We want to ensure that we look to our children’s futures and use as much material for good as possible instead of it being wasted.

Can I drop off my donation to your charity shops?

Our charity clothes shops are based in Raynes Park, Tooting and Fulham in London. They operate solely on a charity basis with all proceeds supporting the community through our charity’s campaigns. You can simply drop off your unwanted clothes to one of our locations or use our clothes collection service.

Super easy and efficient picking up my laptops & mini-hifi system. if you have electronic goods you don't need anymore, I suggest giving them a buzz to see if they will take it and hopefully put it to good use.
