Your old mobile phone, tablet or laptop can change a child’s life

Little Lives UK accepts donations of working or broken mobile phones, tablets, and laptops from anywhere in the UK via a free prepaid shipping label. Donated devices are either given directly to disadvantaged children through schools, councils, and hospitals or sold to fund our free youth mental health campaigns.

Devices donated to children via schools,
youth clubs and councils

Mobile phone and laptop recycling with Little Lives UK has a direct impact on the children we support. To date, our Technology Programme has distributed 2734 devices to children and diverted 360 tonnes of e-waste from landfills.

These devices will make a huge difference to the lives of the children who need them. Technology can be used to support a child’s education, health and home life.

If this is not possible devices are resold and 100% of the money made goes towards funding our charity campaigns. Your donation will directly benefit disadvantaged children.

Little Lives UK is a fantastic charity, and there need to be more like it around! They have such a simple process and are incredibly helpful, explaining everything along the way. By supporting our school, they have opened up so many opportunities for our pupils. I don’t know how we managed without having tablets in the school.

Education Centres

Education Centres

Tablets are a valuable tool in education for many children. They can be used to deliver tailored learning based on the individual needs of the child. For example, with eye tracking technology, they help children with mobility and communication issues communicate better. We are proud to donate these devices which help all children thrive.
Hospitals

NHS Hospitals

We are proud to donate mobile phones to children’s diabetes teams across the UK. These phones are used alongside medical technology to digitally track a child’s sugar levels and insulin requirements. They go to families with young diabetic children so they have their own device to monitor their health.
Councils

Local Councils

With the help of local council services, we are able to donate technology directly to vulnerable children who need it. This includes tablets and phones for children to use for remote learning and homework. These devices can also be used for vital communication with friends and family.

Your phone and tablet donations directly support children across the UK

Through our Technology Programme devices are donated to children who do not have access to necessary technology. Our Technology Programme aims to end technology poverty and help children succeed in their education and at home.

Your donations also help us raise money for ‘Someone To Talk To’ – our mental health campaign offering free one to one therapy sessions to vulnerable children across the UK. These sessions offer vital support to children suffering with mental health issues without the added pressure of long wait times or high costs.
