Why donate to Little Lives UK?

Through our charity campaign, Someone to Talk To, we provide free, professional counselling sessions in schools for children experiencing anxiety, depression, bullying, or family challenges. Your donations help us ensure that no child has to wait months for the mental health support they desperately need.

Immediate Support: With NHS waiting times for mental health services reaching up to 18 weeks, this campaign offers prompt assistance, reducing the risk to children’s well-being.

Qualified Counsellors: A dedicated team of qualified counsellors provides six fully funded sessions per child, tailoring each session to individual needs.

Little Lives UK also runs a Technology Campaign to provide children and young people with access to vital tech resources. The campaign focuses on donating laptops, tablets, and other digital devices to children who face digital exclusion due to financial difficulties. By addressing this gap, the charity ensures these children can access educational resources, online learning, and social connectivity.

How your donation helps children thrive

Vital therapy and support
Donations help fund therapy sessions for children dealing with trauma, anxiety, or other mental health challenges. For example, your support might enable a child to receive counseling after a bereavement or cope with bullying, giving them the tools to heal and thrive emotionally.

Facilitating opportunities for learning and growth
Contributions can provide children with essential learning resources, such as laptops, iPads or phones. These items empower children from disadvantaged backgrounds to excel in their education, reducing barriers to success.

Meadowcroft Primary school, London

I approached Little Lives UK as I work at a small primary school in greater London with very limited information technology resources. Little Lives UK incredibly kindly gifted us 15 iPads. I cannot thank them enough for their generosity. This will enable us to teach our children to become digitally literate. It will also help our pupils with SEN needs to communicate and access learning in different ways. Rebeca has been fantastic and we are so appreciative. Thank you, Little Lives UK!

How your donations help children in need

Mental health support

Our ‘Someone To Talk To’ project is bringing essential mental health services to areas of the UK most in need. The project is aiming to raise awareness about the rising mental health problems children are facing and aims to provide free counselling sessions to those who need it most.

Technology support

There are thousands of children around the UK who do not have access to technological devices. Having access to such devices is important for young people, as it will hugely help with their education, whilst also allowing them to connect more with their friends. We aim to provide the technology they need.
