Who we are

Little Lives UK is a children’s charity dedicated to empowering disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Founded in 2017, we work to change lives by offering free mental health support and donating technology to help close the digital gap. We also care about the planet—by collecting unwanted items for our charity shops, we give them a new purpose and turn your kindness into real help for children who need it most.

Our history

We started Little Lives UK in London, working hand-in-hand with local communities to tackle the challenges they faced. We later expanded into Dorset and are now helping children across the UK. While our early focus was on community campaigns and sponsoring sports teams, we soon saw a greater need for mental health support. Today, we provide free mental health services and donate essential technology to children in need.

What we do

Little Lives UK runs three charity shops in London and offers a free collection service across parts of London and Dorset. Funds raised help us provide counsellors to schools lacking mental health support. We also donate essential technology to children through schools, youth clubs, and councils. By collecting and reusing donated items, we promote recycling and work toward a greener, more sustainable future for all.

Our mission

With a growing backlog in children’s mental health support, our mission is to provide free counselling to as many schools and children as possible. At the same time, we support recycling by collecting donated electronics and passing them on to children who lack access to the technology they need for education and wellbeing. Together, we’re helping build a healthier, more connected future for young people.

Our charity campaigns

'Someone to Talk To' Campaign: Counselling in schools

Each month, 40 children gain fast, free access to vital counselling through our ‘Someone to Talk To’ campaign. This initiative delivers fully funded mental health support directly to schools, helping children who might otherwise face long NHS wait times. With a dedicated team of qualified counsellors, we’re making sure no child is left waiting for the care they need to thrive.

Technology Programme

2,351 Devices Donated to Children in Need. Technology is essential to children’s education and daily life, yet thousands across the UK still lack access to the devices they need to learn and thrive. Thanks to generous donations through our free electronics collection service, we’ve been able to provide vital technology to children who need it most—helping to level the playing field and support equal educational opportunities nationwide.
