2020 – Year in review
It’s safe to say that 2020 has been a challenging year. The impact of Covid-19 has affected many industries, individuals and sectors. As a charity, it has been no different for us, as for large parts of the year, our three stores were sadly forced to shut. Despite these challenges, Little Lives UK has still managed to help out hundreds of disadvantaged and disabled children this year through our monthly campaigns. Here is a review of the year we’ve had.

Little Lives UK donates over 200 technology items in 3 months
Over the last year, Little Lives UK has been running a project to donate items of technology to schools and individuals who most need them. Through the donations of technology that we have made between September and November, we are proud to announce that we have donated over 200 devices.

Funding resurfacing works at Tree Tops Short Break Unit
Little Lives UK are thrilled to have funded resurfacing works at Tree Tops Short Break Unit in Dartford. Before lockdown, our team visited their exceptional facility and were overwhelmed to hear about the work they do in helping disadvantaged and disabled children in their local area.
Winter clothing donation to Hestia
To aid families in our area we have recently worked with Hestia. A great charity which provides support for those experiencing domestic abuse, modern slavery and mental health needs. Hestia is one of the largest providers for victims of domestic abuse refugees in London and the South East. They are also the main organisation supporting victims of modern slavery in the capital.
Our donation to Feltham Community Boxing club
Little Lives UK are delighted to be supporting Feltham Community Boxing Club for a second year. After visiting in November 2019 and funding the club for a year, the team went back in October this year to see how the club was coping in these uncertain times.
