With the weather starting to turn in recent weeks it now becomes vital that families receive the items that they need to get through the winter.
To aid families in our area we have recently worked with Hestia. A great charity which provides support for those experiencing domestic abuse, modern slavery and mental health needs. Hestia is one of the largest providers for victims of domestic abuse refugees in London and the South East. They are also the main organisation supporting victims of modern slavery in the capital.
From giving someone a home to helping them to get the right mental health support, Hestia supports people at the moment of crisis and enables them to build a life beyond a crisis.
To help them with their work Little Lives UK has provided a selection of winter clothing.
These items will then be used to provide 7 women and one child with winter clothing.
All the clothing that we provided was of a high quality so that we could ensure these individuals have everything they need to start fresh.
Being a part of rebuilding the lives of families and in our community is something that really has touched our team.
We hope to continue to provide Hestia with all the support we can in the coming months to ensure that their work will continue.
