Making plans for the near future seems impossible at the moment, given the current situation, especially for events like Halloween. Under normal circumstances Halloween would involve a lot of trick or treating at various neighbour’s houses. Now it must be something a little more low-key to protect everyone’s well being.
T-shirt competition winner announcement
At the start of the month, we asked the pupils of Queen’s Park Primary school to help design our new charity t-shirts. All the pupils from Year 2 to Year 6 took part to construct a Little Lives UK t-shirt for our volunteers, a thank you t-shirt for our donors, along with a banner that would be used at events organised by the charity.

Over the last few weeks the pupils of Queen’s Park Primary have been using their creativity to embark on a new journey with us. Pupils across the school joined in to help design a brand new logo for our charity.

As the impact of Covid-19 continues to disrupt many daily aspects of life, the Little Lives UK charity continues to help many young people who are being affected. There are a number of primary schools in London that have been affected, which is why we as a charity want to make sure that underprivileged children’s education does not get negatively impacted by Covid-19.

Our donation to Uptown Youth Group
We are very excited to be working closely with Uptown Youth services, a youth centre based in Colliers Wood that helps young people that have had difficult backgrounds and struggle with learning disabilities.

Charity shops reopening
This past week thanks to everyone’s hard work staying at home to fight the virus our stores were able to reopen for the first time in months. It was great to see so many smiling faces back in stores again and catch up with all our fabulous volunteers.
