As summer draws nearer to an end and we edge closer to the schools reopening across the UK, we have a number of exciting upcoming projects from the team at Little Lives UK.
One of our projects will be aimed towards improving and helping many young children suffering from mental health related issues across our London communities by working with a local youth centre. Whilst we additionally hope to launch a new campaign for many children in a local school to take part in.
Firstly, we are very much looking forward to working with Uptown Youth Group. This community centre based in Colliers Wood, organises and runs a range of fun activities three nights a week for young people with learning difficulties to take part in. Here at Little Lives UK, we are extremely proud to be able to help Uptown Youth Club with a donation of £5,000, which we hope will aid the centre in continuing to help provide young members of the community a safe and fun location to learn new skills and take part in a host of activities.
Moreover, we will soon be running a fun campaign with a local school to help design our new charity t-shirt. This will be a competition, which we hope will see many children use their imagination and create a colourful and fun t-shirt design for Little Lives UK. Fun competitions or activities like this are hugely important for affected children to take part in and will help them improve their skills, whilst additionally providing them with an enjoyable experience.
There will be more information on these impending projects in the coming weeks, along with further insightful blogs regarding activities local children in London could do safely before the end of summer and advice for children before they return to school.
