It’s safe to say that 2020 has been a challenging year. The impact of Covid-19 has affected many industries, individuals and sectors. As a charity, it has been no different for us, as for large parts of the year, our three stores were sadly forced to shut. Despite these challenges, Little Lives UK has still managed to help out hundreds of disadvantaged and disabled children this year through our monthly campaigns. Here is a review of the year we’ve had.

Little Lives UK are thrilled to have funded resurfacing works at Tree Tops Short Break Unit in Dartford. Before lockdown, our team visited their exceptional facility and were overwhelmed to hear about the work they do in helping disadvantaged and disabled children in their local area.
To aid families in our area we have recently worked with Hestia. A great charity which provides support for those experiencing domestic abuse, modern slavery and mental health needs. Hestia is one of the largest providers for victims of domestic abuse refugees in London and the South East. They are also the main organisation supporting victims of modern slavery in the capital.
Little Lives UK are delighted to be supporting Feltham Community Boxing Club for a second year. After visiting in November 2019 and funding the club for a year, the team went back in October this year to see how the club was coping in these uncertain times.
