Our Donkey Donation to Bournemouth and Poole College
17/07/2024
At Little Lives UK we have been using an electric minivan also known as the ‘The Donkey’ to collect and deliver our electronic donations to schools and local organisations for the past year.
The 2009-built Aixam Mega 600 Electric Van, is well-known for its unique design. Its wind resistance makes it the least aerodynamic multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) worldwide. This van has been a huge help to our organisation, allowing us to grow and strengthen our technology campaign. As a result, it left us needing a bigger van to help accommodate all of the donations.
School as a new home
We wanted to provide the donkey with a new home so we chose to donate the van to Bournemouth and Poole college. By donating the donkey, we are hoping to offer the mechanic students a new exciting project to work on. It’s been a pleasure to work alongside and support the college, and we’re excited to see the results of our donation. We hope to collaborate with the college on additional projects in the future, that will benefit both the students and the broader community.
