The Community Coaching Company CIC is an organisation based in Newark that helps those in the community who are in need of vital support that so often is not funded or available for everyone.
They are piloting a group run by sibling of children with additional needs. The siblings know their brothers and sisters better than anyone and can really help to guide service providers in the right direction when it comes to understanding what is best for them and their family. Also, because of the high demands of their siblings, these children have a demand which remain unmet.
As a part of our technology programme we have donated 14 iPads to the CCC CIC so that the siblings of children with additional needs can complete projects, assessments both at school and during these sessions. The aim is to give these children an ongoing position of responsibility within the organisation which will positively not only the CCC CIC’s work but also positively impact the children and their families.
Also, the children can add to their CVs because of the supportive role they have played within the community project.
We are so proud to be supporting such aa great cause that does so much for their community and the children within it.
